The Christian and The Social Order
Every follower of Jesus Christ is under obligation
to make the will of Christ supreme in his own life
and in human society. The means and methodology
employed in efforts to improve society and to
promote the advancement of righteousness among
men can only be truly permanently, gently,
effective when they are built upon the foundation
of the regeneration of individuals which is obtained
by the saving grace of God through faith in Jesus
Christ. The Christian ought  to oppose , in the Spirit
and example of Christ, every form of greed,
selfishness, vice, and debauchery. In contrast the
Christian has a duty to work to provide for those
who are orphaned, the aged, those who are
impoverished, the infirm, and  those who are
legitimately helpless to improve their
circumstances of life.

Every follower of Christ ought to be mindful of
opportunity to bring industry, government,and
society as a whole under the guidance of the
principles of righteousness, truth, and compassion
for  others. To promote these ends Christians
should be willing to work toward the betterment of
society while always being careful to act in the
spirit of love without compromising their loyalty
and faithfulness to Jesus Christ and His truth.
