Concerning God
There is one and only one living and true God. He is
an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being, the
Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Ruler of the
universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other
perfections. Unto Him we owe the highest love,
reverence, and obedience. The Eternal  God reveals
Himself to us as God the Father, God the Son, and
God the Holy Spirit , with each having  distinct
personal attributes, but without any division of nature
essence, or being.
Concerning God The Father
God The Father reigns with providential care and
absolute sovereignty over His universe, His creatures,
and the flow of the stream of human history
according to the purposes of His Grace. He is all
powerful, all loving, all wise, and everywhere present.
God The Father is truth to all men but most especially
is He the Father in truth unto those who are born into
the family of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Concerning God The Son
Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as
Jesus Christ He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and
born of the virgin Mary. Jesus took upon himself
human nature thereby identifying totally with mankind
,yet without sin, and without ever having His nature as
God diminished in any way. He was fully man and
fully God. He was obedient in fulfilling every facet of
the Fathers will according to the scriptures even unto
His death upon the cross, burial , and   raising from the
dead the third day following His death. He arose
bodily and appeared unto many witnesses prior to
ascending unto the right hand of the Father  where He
is now the One Mediator between man and God. He is
the one person in whom the reconciliation between
man and God is effected. He will return in power and
glory at a time appointed to judge the world and
establish His kingdom upon the earth.
Concerning God The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit of God was active in the creation of all
things with the Father and the Son. He inspired holy
men of old to write the Holy Scriptures and illuminates
men  in order that they may understand those same
scriptures. He guides men into all truth, convicts of sin,
glorifies Jesus Christ, and draws men unto the saviour.
He effects regeneration within a person, indwells the
believer ,thereby sealing him until the day of
redemption, and bestows Spiritual gifts according to
the will of God for use in serving God through the
church. He comforts all believers,cultivates the
character of Christ in their lives, and empowers them
for service unto God in evangelism and worship.
